Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Gets Massive Sim Update 4 With Tons of Fixes and Improvements

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Boeing 787 KLM

Today, Microsoft and Asobo officially released Sim Update 4 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

This follows exactly three months of public beta testing and comes on the same day as the release of the simulator for PS5.

The update is absolutely massive, and although it focuses mostly on fixing outstanding issues and improving performance, that’s pretty much exactly what many simmers wanted, and from what we’ve seen so far, it has been largely successful. Knock on wood.

At the same time, we also see the release of the supersonic demonstrator Boom XB-1, which has been made available to all users at no additional cost.

Below you can read the massive patch notes. Make sure you grab a cup of coffee, because it’ll take you a while to read everything.

Update: Microsoft has updated the patch notes with several highly anticipated fixes to a number of aircraft, including the Boeing 787 and plenty more.
