This is an extensive remake of the aircraft released quite some time ago for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, with big changes across systems, 3D modeling, features, and more.

It’s available at PMDG’s own store for $74.99. Those who purchased the original release for MSFS 2020 will get a discount and will be able to get the version for MSFS 2024 for $30.

It’s worth mentioning that for now, it’s only for PC. An Xbox version will come to the official marketplace at a later date, and I can’t imagine PMDG will miss the chance to be on PS5 when that marketplace opens to third-party developers.

We also already know that the 737-600 and 737-900 are coming out in January, while the -700 will be released by the end of February.

Interestingly, the aircraft is chock full of cheeky animations and Easter Eggs. You can see what I mean below.

Below you can check out an official trailer showing the popular airliner in all of its chonky beauty.

Here’s a list of features you can expect.

  • Virtual cockpit model, with ultra high detail textures, 3D rendering and reflective properties and all new material surface properties..
  • Advanced animations techniques leveraging the new MSFS engine to truly bring the 737 flight deck to life.
  • Cockpit differences between the passenger, cargo and BBJ airplanes are accurately rendered.
  • A full featured tutorial will guide you through proper operation of the 737 from power up to power down.

  • This product comes with a free sample of Navigraph navigation data.

A more in-depth list has been shared over the previous few days (part 1, part 2, and part 3).

Interestingly, the sounds have been developed in collaboration with a popular studio, Echo 19, and below you can check out a few videos on the topic, including a comparison with the soundscape in MSFS 2020.
