The airport, which carries the ICAO code EDDL and IATA code DUS, is one of the most relevant in Germany and serves the capital of Rhine-Westphalia.

It’s currently available on Orbx Direct, Contrail, and more, priced at approximately $20.

Here’s an official list of the features you can expect from this new rendition of Dusseldorf.

  • Highly detailed and realistic rendition of Dusseldorf Airport (EDDL)
  • High-quality 3D models and textures crafted with attention to detail
  • Fully modeled terminal interiors, including the main hall and all passenger areas (A, B, C)
  • Up-to-date ground layout
  • Custom-designed, functional jetways
  • Accurate and immersive lighting: custom approach, runway, taxiway lights
  • Unique, hand-crafted taxiway signs, ground service and airport vehicle models
  • Precise airport and runway elevation data for enhanced realism
  • Custom points of interest, including the city tower, bridges, train station, and more
  • Animated GSE vehicles, SkyTrain, Trains, Flags and Commercials

We also get a trailer and plenty of screenshots of the airport, which you can see below, to get a good idea of its quality.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is available for PC and Xbox Series X|S. It’s worth mentioning that Fenix’s aircraft are PC exclusive.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is also available for the same platforms following its recent release in November. If you want to see the massive visual difference against Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, you can enjoy our video and screenshot comparison.
