Mecha Knights: Nightmare 2 Reveals New Details and Screenshots as Steam Page Launches

Today, Damian Kubiak launched the official Steam page for his highly anticipated mecha action game sequel, Mecha Knights: Nightmare 2.

The Mecha Mecha Knights: Nightmare 2 Steam page features plenty of new details surrounding the sequel, including some impressive screenshots. According to Kubiak, the next installment will expand and refine the experience with improved movement, deeper customization, and a deeper story.

The next chapter continues Ethan’s story as he helps lead humanity’s desperate war against the Reds, trying to stop their monstrous onslaught and uncover the truth behind their origins. It will once again focus on a single-player campaign that features dynamic mech battles, destructible environments, and deep customization.

You’ll be able to assemble and fine-tune everything your heart desires for your suit in Mecha Mecha Knights: Nightmare 2, from combat style to cosmetic appeal. This includes choosing its head, torso, arms, legs, and tail booster, and equipping a wide range of weapons, equipment, and Battlegroup support abilities to help you shift the tide of battle. Alongside the continuation of Ethan’s story, the sequel adds melee weapons, loadout saving, and different leg types.

If you’re unfamiliar with the series, Mecha Knights: Nightmare is a mecha action game, developed almost entirely as a solo project, that released on Steam back in 2021. Several popular anime and game IPs, including Muv-Luv, Blue Gender, Armored Core, Front Mission, Earth Defence Force, and Resident Evil, explicitly inspire the game, and it isn’t hard to see their influence reflected in the final product.

Currently, the only release information the Steam page provides is that the Planned Release Date is “to be announced.” For more information on this and other mecha-related games, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
