Sony Interactive Entertainment kicked off the first day of Chinajoy in Shanghai, China, with a demo of the action RPG Lost Soul Aside.
The demo was streamed on PlayStation China’s own Weibo channel, presented by the game’s creator, Yang Bing.
We get to see about 8 minutes of gameplay including a battle against a new boss, and the game certainly doesn’t disappoint in terms of the stylish action that has caught the eye of the audience worldwide.

If you’re unfamiliar with Lost Soul Aside, it’s an action RPG originally started by Yang Bing as a solo project inspired by Final Fantasy XV and Devil May Cry. When it was first showcased in 2016, it immediately received a lot of attention due to its refined visuals and impressive action.
It was then presented by Sony as part of the first wave of the China Hero Project, which aims to promote games made by Chinese studios on the worldwide stage. In the meanwhile, its creator founded the studio Ultizero Games to develop Lost Soul Aside into a full-fledged game.
Several years have passed since then, and the game has been shown as multiple events, showing gradual but consistent improvement over its already impressive beginnings.
The game is coming for PS5 and PC, but we still don’t have a release date, and none was announced today. Looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer to know when we’ll get to play this.
