Following the previous gameplay reveal, which showcased the game’s prologue, we get to see the next stage.

This time around, though, the gameplay switches from the new and sparkly RePOP Mode back to the Original Mode, shown for the first time. This restores the original bloody effects that fans are familiar with.

Besides a ton of chainsaw action, we also get to see a boss battle and a few cutscenes, which is never a bad thing.

You can watch it below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, it’s a remaster of the old and beloved Lollipop Chainsaw, which was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. Part of the original development team including the original producer have been working on it for quite some time.

The game is coming for PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. The release date has recently been moved up (only for the west) to September 12, 2024.

It’s worth mentioning that the release date has remained unchained on September 26 for players living in Japan and Asia.

Recently, we also learned that PS4 and Xbox One ports are also coming, but fans will have to wait until November to play on old-gen consoles.

On top of that, physical editions and even a rather flashy Cheerleader Edition will be made available by Limited Run Games.
