The highly anticipated game development simulator Let’s Build a Dungeon just dropped a demo on Steam, giving players a chance to check out what the game’s about ahead of its release.

The demo for Let’s Build a Dungeon lets players get an idea of what the game will hold. Players build a fantasy world, quests and all, to share with in-game beta testers. Players will have to make choices about the world they create (and create choices for beta testers, too).

There are multiple quest paths players can choose, making the demo easily replayable. Considering there’s no release date yet, this is good news for excited prospective players.

The demo is available in several different languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Brazilian Portuguese. Unfortunately, the demo doesn’t have controller support quite yet, which means it won’t work on Steam Decks, either. However, developers are currently working on controller support.

Developer Springloaded is asking demo players to leave reviews via the in-game feedback form as well as a Steam review on the actual demo page.

Let’s Build a Dungeon lets players live their game development dreams and create their own MMORPG. Between hiring employees, creating dungeons and enemies, and keeping players happy, there’s a lot to do. Players will even be able to play the game they create.

Springloaded is best known for Let’s Build a Zoo, another simulation game with pixel graphics that had great reviews.

Twitch integrations are also part of the game, including the ability for chat to make decisions for streamers. Players can check out the trailer below to see how it all works:

Let’s Build a Dungeon doesn’t have a release date, but it will come out on both PC and Xbox Series X|S.
