Riot Games has announced the locations and dates for the various stages that make up League of Legends Worlds 2025.
To kick things off, the Play-In and Swiss Stages will be held at the Beijing Smart Esports Center in Beijing. The competition will start on October 14 with the Play-In Stage, which will feature a best-of-five match between the fourth-seeded team of the best-performing regions at MSI to determine who goes on to the Swiss Stage.
The Swiss Stage will go from October 15 to October 25, which will result in eight teams progressing to the Knockout Stage.
The Knockout Stage takes place at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai from October 28 to November 2. These single-elimination, best-of-five matches fuel the event’s energy as both quarterfinals and semifinals take place.
This year, the quarterfinals will go straight to the semifinals with no room for a break. This means teams have more on the line than ever with back-to-back matches.
League of Legends Worlds 2025 Finals will be held at the Dong’an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu on November 9. More details about the event, including ticket information, will be released as the date gets closer.
This will be the first time that League of Legends Worlds has headed to the Beijing Smart Esports Center, which is a premier stadium that was built specifically for esports events.
