Looking at the whole company, revenue was 310,829 million yen (up 22.8% year-on-year), while business profit was 87,143 million yen (up 38.7% year-on-year) and operating profit was 86,700 million yen (up 45.5% year-on-year).

According to the press release, all the financial figures broke records for the company both for Q3 and for the first nine months of the fiscal year.

Looking at the Digital Entertainment business, which includes games and the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG, and takes the lion’s share of Konami’s business (no, it isn’t Pachinko), revenue was 228,882 million yen (up 32% year-on-year) and profit was 80,817 million yen (up 44.6% year-on-year).

We hear that Silent Hill 2 continues to increase its sales having passed 2 million units sold as of January 2025. eFootball has passed 800 million downloads worldwide and continues to see strong demand.

Speaking of Silent Hill, Konami will “continue to produce completely new titles” in the Silent Hill series and intends to provide information through the “Silent Hill Transmission” livestreams.

Silent Hill 2 is also cited among the causes for an increase of the full-year outlook. The game is forecasted to exceed Konami’s expectations. The other reason mentioned is the strong performance of core titles, including eFootball.

Now Konami expects to end the fiscal year in March with 412,000 million yen in revenue, 108,000 million yen in business profit, and 100,000 million yen in operating profit. This is significantly higher compared to the previous prediction at 380,000 million yen, 92,500 million yen, and 84,500 million yen respectively.

If achieved, it’d also beat the numbers of the previous fiscal year (360,314 million yen, 88,212 million yen, and 80,262 million yen respectively) by a large margin.
