Kodansha Creators’ Lab, the indie game publishing section of entertainment company Kodansha Ltd., is releasing three brand new demos as a part of this month’s Steam Next Fest event: Guns Undarkness, Rise of Rebellion, and Bokura: Planet.
Despite being an indie game, the first title, Guns Undarkness, might already be on many radars, as it comes from the composer of the Persona series and Metaphor: ReFantazio series, Shoji Meguro. This stealth turn-based JRPG tasks players with restoring order to humanity by controlling a private military company following the events of a nuclear war known as The Great Reset.
You can take a look at the trailer for the demo right down below:
Rise of Rebellion is a 3D medieval fantasy action RPG being developed by Gcores that places you in the shoes of a hero fighting back against invaders that threaten his hometown. Harness the power of the Earth and unleash deadly button-mashing combos while also being weary of overusing your magic and leaving yourself vulnerable to attacks.
The demo for Rise of Rebellion covers the prologue of the game and can be seen in a sneak peek below:
Last but not least, there is Bokura: Planet, a charming two-player co-op puzzle adventure. In this standalone adventure, you’ll team up with a friend to help two convicted astronauts escape the mysterious planet they’ve crash-landed on.
Using voice chat, the two of you must overcome challenging puzzles, including locked doors, moving platforms, and other obstacles, in order to earn your freedom. Unbeknownst to your partner, each crew member is also given a secret objective that could lead to death for the other astronaut, throwing an interesting monkey wrench into a scenario that is all about trusting one another.
Each of these three Kondasha demos can be played via Steam for free on February 24, 2025.
