Kaiju Cleanup will be fully playable in both solo or with up to two to four players online co-op, tasking players with heading to disaster zones so they can carve up Kaiju corpses, scrub away hazardous material, and much more. The game will feature a full campaign that can be entirely completed either alone or in multiplayer that takes place in the aftermath of a chaotic Kaiju attack.

Just like you’ve seen in movies like Pacific Rim or anime like Kaiju No. 8, you and your gang team up together to take on monstrous remains without any worry of having to defeat them yourselves. Work together to navigate radioactive hazards and avoid meeting a sticky end, and be sure not to accidentally adding to the body and create more of a mess by team killing your fellow cleaners.

Mythwright Publishing Director Stuart Morton had the following to say when discussing their excitement about Kaiju Cleanup:

“As the most requested feature from the community, we’re thrilled to confirm that Kaiju Cleanup will include full support for 2-4 player co-op at launch,” Stuart Morton. “With over 130,000 Steam wishlists since the game’s announcement in September, we’ve been swept away by the level of excitement and support players have shown, and can’t wait to share much more as we scrub up for launch next year.”

As Morton states above, the simulator is already garnering quite a big of traction with fans, boasting over 130k Wishlists since it was announced back in September 2025.

Kaiju Cleanup is set to be released for PC (Steam) at some point in 2026, though no specific window has been specified. For more information on this and other unique cleaning sims, like PowerWash Simulator and Clean Up Earth, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
