Frontier Developments has released Jurassic World Evolution 3 Update 1.2.6, which adds a new dinosaur family unit and several bug fixes.
To start with, the Amargasaurus has joined the dinosaur lineup in Jurassic World Evolution 3. Despite having sharp teeth, the Amargasaurus is a herbivore that feasts on hard-to-chew vegetation in trees.
It also has long spines on its body to protect it, though these cause the dinosaur to have bad hearing and move slowly.
The Amargasaurus was social and lived with other dinosaurs, like the Stegosaurus, Amargatitanis, and Zapalasaurus. Players will be able to put these adorable dinos in the same habitats as other dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 3, too.
Players can check out the trailer for the Amargasaurus below:
That’s not all that was part of Jurassic World Evolution 3 Update 1.2.6. Several bug fixes targeted a few different areas of the game. There were a few performance and stability updates, as well as a fix so that placing a Cretaceous Cruise doesn’t stop environmental brushes from working.
Additionally, there were fixes to a problem that caused some dinosaurs with feathers to show in low detail. Additionally, scavengers are now able to hunt goats in groups.
There were also a few localization issues where park announcement voice-overs were missing — these have now been fixed.
Jurassic World Evolution 3 Update 1.2.6 is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. For more information on Jurassic World Evolution 3, check out the previous updates like Update 1.2.5 and Update 1.2.3.
