Gaming Factory has revealed its next steps for JDM: Japanese Drift Master in the form of a Q2 2026 content roadmap, showing off some of the things it plans to bring to the drift racing sim.
There are four planned content additions coming to JDM: Japanese Drift Master in the coming months, including the following:
- DLC 2 with new cars
- Free new cars
- Multiplayer function
- Liveries
The first thing on the roadmap is another car-focused DLC. Similar to the Made in USA DLC, the next DLC will feature new vehicles at a low price. More details on this will be released in the future, though the developers did say it’s the best way to support the studio as the game lives on.
There will also be free cars added, too. Both the new cars and the new DLC will be available on all platforms when they launch.
Multiplayer has been a long-awaited feature, and Gaming Factory has been hard at work implementing it. There’s still quite a bit of work to go, but the goal is to have it released across platforms in Q2 2026.
Details like the applicable game modes, cross-platform, and other technical aspects will be addressed in the future as development progresses.
The livery system, along with car customization like stickers, is coming in Q2 2026, too. It’s a feature that’s been planned for quite some time, but the developers needed more time to make sure it didn’t drag down the game’s performance. The developers are expecting it to be the last big update from the roadmap.
While it’s not on the roadmap, Gaming Factory is also working to bring steering wheel support to console players. It’ll start with Logitech and Thrustmaster support on PlayStation 5, which is coming in the next few days. However, it may be a bit longer before this hits Xbox Series X|S.

Players can check out JDM: Japanese Drift Master now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
