Golden Syrup Games has announced Inventor Simulator, where players create inventions, sell them, and automate the process.
In Inventor Simulator, players run a shop selling their own inventions, which are created by crafting with various components. Components give and require attributes to invent something, and these attributes are what customers are after.
At the start, players will need to purchase components to craft with, which can get pricey. However, as they progress, they’ll be able to learn how to create components.
Players will also learn how to automate crafting with things like conveyor belts to move components. There’s also a more in-depth pricing mechanic, with a demand model that helps players determine the best price and give feedback on their prices.
A trailer for Inventor Simulator was also released, giving fans an idea of what the simulator will look and play like. You can also see some of the inventions, like a handheld gaming device and a toaster. There’s also a look at the automation systems. You can watch the trailer below:
There is also a gallery of images to browse through that shows how most of the major systems in the game work, including some shots from inside the shop. You can check them out below:

There’s no release date yet for Inventor Simulator quite yet, but it’s available to wishlist on Steam now.
