Today, Ryu’s Office announced that the Indie Live Expo would return for its annual Spring showcase on Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Since debuting in 2020, the event has reached more than 100 million views, with each event setting the stage to spotlight dozens of upcoming games. The Spring 2026 showcase will be no different, featuring world premieres and content updates, as well as the return of signature segments, like the rapid-fire updates during Indie Waves and deep dives into select titles during Indie Spotlight.
When commenting on the event, Ryu’s Office Founder and CEO Ryuta Konuma talked about the importance of indies and the submissions they receive:
“Every year we are blown away by the amazing submissions we receive,” said Konuma. “It’s an absolute pleasure to spotlight the boundless creativity across the gaming industry, and we can’t wait to see what indie devs around the world have in store for 2026.”
The Indie Live Expo Spring 2026 showcase will broadcast in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean on YouTube Live, X Live, Twitch, Niconico, Billibilli, and Steam. Indie developers and publishers can submit their games for consideration now, with the entry period lasting until February 20, 2026, at 6:59 AM (PST).
