Today, Creative Assembly announced that the Immortal Empires campaign, as well as The Lost God prologue campaign, is set to become available for Total War Warhammer I and II as of December 4, 2025, at 11 AM EST.
Total War Warhammer Immortal Empires is a mega campaign that includes all the factions from Total War Warhammer I, II, and III. Initially, you needed to own all three games just to unlock it, with that then changing to just the most recent title.
Now, players can own any of the three titles and have access to the campaign. Anyone who owns any of the three will see Warhammer III automatically added to their library with Immortal Empires and The Lost God campaign unlocked.
It is important to note that even if you don’t own the full Warhammer III, you can also purchase any of its associated DLCs to play in Immortal Empires. If you already own the tire title, your experience will not change, and there is nothing you need to do in order to continue playing your owned content.
If you only own the first two titles in the series, you can purchase the Warhammer III Upgrade Pack to expand your gameplay experience, which includes 10 Legendary Lords, The Realm of Chaos narrative campaign, Multiplayer campaigns: The Realm of Chaos, Something Rotten in Kislev and Darkness & Disharmony, and the Mirrors of Madness game mode.
You can also check this Upgrade Pack to see the minimum specs required to play both Immortal Empires and The Lost Gods. It is also required if you want to play multiplayer battles, but isn’t necessary if you just want to play co-op multiplayer with friends.
The Total War: Warhammer Trilogy bundle is currently available for $45 on Steam. For more information on this and other news from the Warhammer series, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily.
