Today, Frozen District announced the release date of the upcoming Pets DLC for its popular simulation game, House Flipper 2.
The update is set to feature everything that pet fans dream of, including 40+ Dog and Cat Breeds, 10 jobs related to animals, and much more. As you adopt your pet, you’ll be able to see their personalities unfold right alongside the houses you’ll build for them.
Since the homes you build will be just as much the pet’s home, there will be plenty of unique items and house setups to accommodate them accordingly, including an entirely new in-game location. You can see the full list of features and a sneak peek at gameplay down below:
- 40+ dog and cat breeds, some with unique traits
- 30+ smaller pet species to adopt
- New region of Pinnacove to unlock
- 10 pawesome jobs to bring the community together

If you’re unfamiliar with House Flipper 2, it’s a simulation game that puts the player in the role of an entrepreneur who renovates and flips real estate. It’s perhaps one of the most prominent examples of the “job simulator” genre, which has gained significant attention in recent years.
It’s the second installment of a popular franchise started with House Flipper in 2018, and it has been available since 2023. The base game is currently available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox for $39.99.
House Flipper 2 Pets DLC doesn’t have an official release date at the moment, but it has been confirmed for PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
