Frozen District has revealed more information about the House Flipper 2 Sakura DLC, which is set to release next week, along with more details about the free update that’s coming at the same time.
Originally, Frozen District announced that there would be over 300 Japanese-themed items added to House Flipper 2 with the Sakura DLC. However, the team was particularly enthusiastic and created over 600 items for the Sakura DLC.
These items include furniture, plants, decorations, traditional paper walls, windows, and even more.
That’s not all that’s part of the DLC, either. There are also five jobs, five Japanese homes to renovate, five new buyers who are particularly interested in traditional Japanese architecture, three new variants of a Japanese countryside environment (with a springtime Mt. Fuji view), new collectibles, three wooden assemblies, and new achievements.

There will also be a free update for House Flipper 2 released at the same time. The buyer System 2.0 is included in this, which will introduce the following:
- Feedback during auctions, including likes, dislikes, and comments about your work
- New buyers, plus updated versions of the old buyers
- More detailed buyer profiles
- Buyer moodboards
It’ll also be easier to unlock certain buyers. There will also be empty plots in Story Mode and over 100 new items in the shop.
There will be more to the free update, like improvements for roof building, and more information will be available when the update is released.
There will be a livestream celebrating the Sakura DLC release on May 20, 2026, at 6 pm CET/10 am PT/1 PM ET.
The House Flipper 2 Sakura DLC will be released on May 21, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
