Hotel Architect, a hotel management sim from Pathos Interactive and Wired Productions, is inviting players to try the game in an open beta test from January 24 to January 28.
The playtest will allow players to see Hotel Architect for the first time. Players can choose between the career campaign mode or sandbox mode, which takes place in Gothenburg, Sweden.
There are several zones players will be able to choose from, along with real-time dynamic building. Players will need to manage staff and contractors while they impress critics and attract customers.
Critics will judge hotels based on a few different impactful activities, like a gym, meal area, bathrooms, and the rooms themselves. Additionally, things like aesthetics and the temperature of the hotel factor into the review. Plus, players will need to have certain zones and things to do to get a coveted five-star review.
Hotel Architect’s newest trailer shows how chaotic things can get. While players focus on building and designing their hotel, customers and workers can get into quite a bit of trouble. The trailer shows a worker getting stuck in the dryer and a patron blowing up an arcade machine.
