HoYoverse had its Special Program for Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1, revealing the release date, new banner character, events, and rewards for the next update.
To kick things off, the story starts right where Version 4.0 left off. In Version 4.1, the Star Rail Fest Expo is taking place in Planarcadia at the same time as the Phantasmoon Games. The trailer shows that fear is another way to attract Wishpower, and the Games are following in the same disastrous footsteps as the previous Games 15 years ago.
The Star Rail Fest Expo has three areas: the Belebog Zone, the Xianzhou Lufou Zone, and the Penacony Zone. Each Zone takes players through the “official” narrative of what’s happened in the region, recreating the Express’ adventures in Version 1 through the end of Version 2.
Ashveil will make his playable debut in Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1. He’s a five-star Lightning character on Path of The Hunt. In combat, he can mark an enemy as bait, lowering the defense for all enemies. He can deal major damage to the bait enemy with his Skill, and he can follow up and hit the bait after his allies attack it. He has ways to boost his follow-up attack damage.
Off the field, he can daze enemies and put them to sleep with his Technique.
Ashveil’s banner will run throughout Version 4.1. Hyacine will run alongside him in Phase One, while Boothill will run alongside him in Phase Two.

As for the events of Version 4.1, there will be the Wispae War Saga and the Divergent Universe Arcadian Chronicles.
The Wispae War Saga highlights the blocks that are all around Planarcadia, who are in a turf war for Graphia Academy. Players will rally their army and try to keep the peace. The combat follows a card-type, auto-battling, roguelike system.
The Divergent Universe is also entering a new phase with Arcadian Chronicles. This is a reset to the Divergent Universe that brings a plethora of new rewards and lore within it. It works with a card system that gives players more options when progressing through it, and players will choose masks that can be leveled up for better rewards and buffs.
Players will be able to use trial characters through the Divergent Universe now as well, giving players a way to test out different teams. A five-star Elation lightcone will be added to the shop.
Players can look forward to 10 free warps from the Gift of Odyssey and Double Reward Events (Planar Fissure and Garden of Plenty) will also be part of Version 4.1.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.1 will have an adjusted schedule to make up for the extension back in Version 3.8. It will only last four weeks (compared to the normal six weeks).
