HoYoverse held the Special Program for Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2, giving players a first look at everything coming in the game’s next update as it celebrates its second anniversary.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2 will be released on April 9, when players will head to Styxia alongside Castorice, one of the new five-star characters that’s been loved since she was revealed with the release of Amphoreus.
There, they’ll face strong foes while dealing with enemies internally as well. The Flame-Chase Journey is under attack by Okhema’s Council of Elders, including Anaxa’s shady motivations.
Version 3.2 will include two new five-star characters: Castorice (Rememberance) and Anaxa (Erudition). Castorice is the daughter of the River of Souls, and her kit revolves around the Netherwing, a divine dragon entity.
After Castorice uses her ultimate, the dragon will appear and sacrifice its HP to deal damage to enemies. After this, the dragon syncs up with Castorice to amplify her damage, and it can shield the entire party with its taunt. When it leaves the battlefield, it erupts and deals damage to enemies while healing allies.
Castorice introduces a special survival mechanic, too. Any ally that would die in combat is instead put in a near-death state. When they’re in this state, they can rejoin the battle after hitting certain conditions. Castorice doesn’t have to be in the party for this to happen.
Anexa is the second five-star character coming. His kit will randomly apply Weakness to enemies when he attacks. After this has stacked a certain number of times, he’ll trigger Qualitative Discloser. This increases his damage and lets him use a follow-up Skill Attack without using a Skill Point.
His Ultimate helps him get there by inflicting Sublimation on enemies and applying seven Weaknesses on them.
A new Warp event is also coming in the first half of Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.2. This will see reruns of limited five-star characters, starting with Fugue, Jiaoqiu, and Archeron. The second half will introduce Dr. Ratio to the event. Additionally, players can go into Seal Slammers to compete in a new mini-game.
Version 3.2 celebrates Honkai: Star Rail’s second anniversary, and HoYo is rewarding its players. Login rewards alone will give players the chance to claim 20 pulls, and a commemorative gift on April 26 will give players 1,600 Stellar Jades (ie, 10 more pulls). Plus, players can choose either Ruan Mei or Luocha for free.
There will also be several special events, such as the Star Rail WORLD event, which is a pan-cosmic gala.

An exciting announcement was also made for Version 3.4. The community has been asking HoYoverse to look at the power of older characters to balance them and make them viable in the game now. The first of these characters to get adjusted will come in Version 3.4 and will include Silver Wolf, Kafka, Blade, and Jingliu.
