The Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.1 Special Program is here, giving players an inside look at what all is coming when the update goes live on February 26.
The story begins where it left off, as players will need to continue the Flame-Chase Journey against time. Players will act as messengers as they go to the Grove of Epiphany, a new map in the city-state of Amphoreus.
The Grove of Epiphany is the center of knowledge in Amphoreus, based on the Reason Titan, Cerces. The black tide has caused the grove to fall, and players will need to take Cerces’ Coreflame back.
Along the way, players will encounter Tribbie, the latest five-star character.
Tribbie’s also the first demigod of Amphoreus, also known as Tribios or the Holy Maiden of Janusopolis. The five-star Quantum character follows the Path of Harmony, supporting the team with an abundance of buffs. She can also create a debuff zone that causes enemies to take more damage while also dealing damage herself to the tankiest enemy in the zone. Additionally, she helps her teammates trigger follow-up attacks.
The other new five-star character is Mydei, the crown prince of Castrum Kremnos. The Imaginary character follows the Path of Destruction, using his own HP to charge forward and enhance his form. When he’s enhanced, he’ll automatically attack enemies during his turn and hitting harder as time goes on.
Yunli and Huohuo will also return as the other five-star banners during the first and second half of Version 3.1.
Of course, several events will accompany the new version. One of these is the new season of Divergent Universe, which will have a new research topic based on Aphoreus.
Battles will have a Day and Night System that has different boosts during the time of day. Additionally, the transition between times will trigger effects. These effects and Blessings are deeply rooted in Amphoreus lore, so the lore-happy players will have quite a bit to sift through.
There’s also the upcoming Awooo Firm event, where players will need to manage the chimera squad in Okhema.
