New Guilty Gear Strive Character Unika Gets Release Date

Guilty Gear Strive Unika Art

Today, before the finals of the Guilty Gear Strive tournament at EVO Japan, Arc System Works revealed the release date of the next DLC character, Unika.

During the livestream, we got to see a mini-trailer which actually didn’t show gameplay, but revealed that Unika is coming on May 27, so the wait won’t be much longer.

The trailer also included a longer segment focusing on the Dual Rulers anime that is currently being aired, in which Unika plays an important role.

Incidentally, we also heard that the full gameplay trailer for Unika will come at a later time, closer to her release.

She follows Queen Dizzy and Venom as the third character of Season Pass 4, and she will, in turn, be followed by Lucy from the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime series in summer 2025. Lucy will be the first guest character for the franchise.

Before you check out the trailer below, if you want to learn more about Arc System Works’ plans for the game, you can watch our interview with producer Ken Miyauchi. If you enjoy it, don’t forget to leave a like and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more.
