We get to see Venom in action in both gameplay and cutscenes, and we learn that he will be released tomorrow, March 24, 2025.

He follows Queen Dizzy as the second character of Season Pass 4, and he will himself be followed by Unika in spring 20245 and Lucy from the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime series in summer 2025.

Of course, you can purchase him separately or get him with the rest of the bunch by grabbing the season pass.

If you’re unfamiliar with Venom, he’s a recurring character in the series and he’s pool-themed. He uses a pool cue as his weapon and his attacks include billiard balls and similar elements.

You can check out the trailer below.

We also get a starter guide with Venom’s moves.

Incidentally, the tournament was won by Redditto, who defeated 13 in the Grand Finals and secured a $50,000 prize.

Guilty Gear Strive is currently available for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. It has been going strong for four years since its release in 2021 and it has sold over 3 million copies to date.

In other fighting game news from Arc World Tour, today we saw the reveal of the next DLC character for Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes (which Arc System Works publishes), Izumi.

Cygames also provided the first animated look at the next DLC character from Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Galleon. While the game is released under Cygames’ label, its gameplay is developed by Arc System Works.
