Before the race, we got the announcement of the Polestar 5 electric luxury sedan coming to Gran Turismo 7, because apparently, we don’t have enough boring EVs that no one drives in the game.

It’s coming in December 2025 alongside the Spec 3 release. There will be a time trial event dedicated to the Polestar 5 when it launches, and the winner is going to be invited to the final round of the GT World Series in Fukuoka, Japan.

Incidentally, the Polestar 5 was tested in the real world by Igor Fraga to help tune it for the game. You can enjoy the trailer below.

In terms of the Manufacturer Cup, we got a South American duel for first place in Los Angeles, with Angel Inostroza from Chile racing for Porsche, managing to defend the top spot of the podium from Brazilian driver Adriano Carrazza (Toyota), despite having tires in worse condition.

Canadian Samuel Cardinal (Mazda) ended in third place. Below, you can check out the full results and the points ranking at the end of round 3.

You can also watch the full race in the video on demand below.

Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PS5 and PS4. Polyphony Digital has been updating it regularly since its launch in March 2022.

The latest update was 1.63 in September, adding the Hyundai ELANTRA N ’23, the Mazda Spirit Racing Roadster 12R ’25, the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo, the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40V ’74, and the Toyota RAV4 Adventure ’20.

Round 3 of the Nations Cup is going to happen later this evening, and you can expect a report here on Simulation Daily after it goes down.
