Sony has released the free July Update 1.61 for Gran Turismo 7, and it includes multiple new cars, a new livery, three new World Circuit events, another Sophy-compatible track, and a new featured Curation in Scapes.
The first of the three new cars in the update is the Honda N-One RS ’22, and the colors shown off by Sony include white, red, yellow, and a blue-gray. The sleek interior features red accents, too.
Next up is the Nismo R34 GT-R Z-tune ’05, shown off in silver and purple. The car also has red accents, particularly on the steering wheel.
Last but not least is the Nissan Qashwai Tekna 190 2wd e-Power ’22. Pictures show the vehicle in gray, red, and blue with an all-black interior. Sony shared multiple views of each car, which players can check out below:

Additionally, the Lexus RC GT3 ’17 has received an Anest Iwata Racing 2025 livery that’s based on Igor Omura Fraga’s car from the 2025 Super GT Championship. Players can get it when they purchase the vehicle.

Three new World Circuit events are also coming with Gran Turismo 7 July Update 1.61, which are as follows:
- Lightweight K-Cup (Nürburgring Nordschleife)
- Japanese FF Challenge 450 (Alsace – Test Course)
- Race of Turbo Sportscars (Fuji International Speedway)
Additionally, the High Speed Ring track is now compatible with the AI agent Sophy. Players can race against Sophy in both Quick Race and Custom Race on High Speed Ring now.

Last but not least is the fact that Lone Pine is now a featured Curation in Scapes.

The Gran Turismo 7 July Update 1.61 was first teased last week, where the silhouettes of all the cars was shown off on X.
