Gran Turismo 7 is getting a new update next week, as teased by Producer Kazunori Yamauchi himself.
The tease came as usual on the highly respected developer’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
We get the tradutional silhoutette, and this time around is four, teasing four new cars, albeit two are already known and confirmed.
It’s the Corvette CX.R Vision GT Concept and Corvette CX Concept, which we saw revealed a few weeks ago.
The first of the other two appear to follow recent (and rather polarizing) trends among new GT7 vehicles, starting with the Afeela, the EV fruit of the collaboration between Sony and Honda.
The last car seems to be the old Renault Avantime. Please don’t ask me why. I really don’t know and at this point, I don’t understand anymore.
You can see the silhouhettes below.
Gran Turismo 7 is currently available for PS5 and PS4. Polyphony Digital has been updating it regularly since its launch in March 2022.
The game has been updated very actively since its release, and the latest update came in July. In terms of cars, it included a rather strange trio: the Honda N-One RS ’22, the Nismo R34 GT-R Z-tune ’05, and the Nissan Qashwai Tekna 190 2wd e-Power ’22.
Recently, Polyphony Digital also announced a collaboration with Xiaomi for the introduction in the sim of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra sports electric vehicle and a Xiaomi Vision GT. For better or for worse, these have not been implemented in the simulator just yet.
