HoYoverse has held the Genshin Impact Version Luna 3 Special Program, introducing the next patch of story content, the new characters coming with it, a buff for characters who were released years ago, and even more.
To start with, the story takes players to Nasha Town during the Moon-Prayer Night festival, where they run into several members of the Hexenzirkel, Alice and Nicole Reeyn.
There, they find out the borders of Teyvat are unstable, and weird things are appearing across Nod-Krai. With the help of a few friendly faces, players will try to find out what’s going on.
There are two new characters joining the playable fray in Version Luna 3: Durin and Jahoda.
Durin is a five-star Pyro sword user with two forms, nodding to the fact that his character was born from two different dragon forms back in Version 5.6. The first reflects the pure soul of Simulanka, which focuses on supporting his teammates by reducing enemy Elemental Resistance and dealing AoE Pyro damage.
His second form channels Abyssal energy to make him a single-target DPS who can boost his own Vaporize and Melt damage. Durin will also get a story quest in Version Luna 3, which players can complete to get a special reward for his character.
Jahoda will also come in Version Luna 3 as a new four-star Anemo bow character. She can heal teammates while absorbing Elements around her to deal the corresponding damage.
Phase one of Version Luna 3 will see Durin, Jahoda, and Venti on Event Wish banners, while phase two will feature Varesa and Xilonen.
Additionally, a new faction of sorts is coming to character buffs. Certain characters who have close ties to the Hexenzirkel are getting buffs to their abilities and Constellations. After completing a new quest from Alice, “Witch’s Homework,” players can unlock new potential in Durin, Venti, Klee, Albedo, Mona, Razor, Fischl, and Sucrose.
It doesn’t stop at just abilities and Constellations, either. When at least two Hexerei members are on the same team, a new combat effect is unlocked.
After completing the “Witch’s Homework” quest, players will be able to invite Razor, Fischl, or Sucrose to their party.
A new event is coming with Genshin Impact Version Luna 3, which will take place at the Dragonspine. This event, called Soulblazers’ Snowbound Journey, is full of winter-themed minigames. Players can earn various rewards, including Primogems and the four-star event weapon Rainbow Serpent’s Rain Bow.
In Silvermoon Hall, more interactions with the Dameselette are also coming. Additionally, Klee and Albedo will have Envisage Echoes available.
Miliastra Wonderland will also get updates in Version Luna 3. A new Wonderland Resource Center lets Craftspeople share resource and their creations in the editing tool. There are also new rewards and a winter-themed Main Hall.
