The Gamescom Opening Night Live has just concluded, and there were plenty of news and reveals for everyone to enjoy.
If you can’t manage to watch the livestream when it happened, we have gathered all the relevant announcements and reveals here for your perusal, so you can enjoy them on your own time without having to watch the whole thing.
We start with Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, with the presentation of the story that is set in 2035. It’ll release on November 14. for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
We also get a more extended look with developer commentary.
The next game on the menu is Lords of the Fallen 2, coming to PC via Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The next reveal is not a game, but the anime Sekiro: No Defeat, inspired by FromSoftware’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
We then get to see Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, coming in 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Next, it’s time for some Warhammer 40k, with Dawn of War IV, which will finally continue the popular RTS series in 2026 on Steam.
Monster Hunter Wilds is getting a Final Fantasy XIV collaboration in late September, bringing Omega to Capcom’s game. More information will come next month. T
Final Fantasy XIV will also get special battle content from Monster Hunter. The FFXIV part of the crossover will come in October.
Capcom also offered a brand-new look at Onimusha: Way of the Sword, coming in 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Since the trailer can’t be embedded, you’ll have to check it out on YouTube.
Arknights: Endfield was the next game showcased, with its interesting mix of Genshin Impact-like action and base building. It’ll come for PC, PS4, iOS, and Android.
Next it’s time for strategy,, wth the release date of Europa Universalis 5 by Paradox. It’ll launch on November 4, 2025.
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion by Marvelous is next. A demo is available now for the game that will release on September 5 for PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
We then move to TV shows, with the teaser trailer of Season 2 of Fallout, which will stream on December 17 on Amazon Prime Video.
We get to see the first look at the gameplay of the story expansion, The Order of Giants, for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It’ll come on September 4.
We also learn that the main game will come out in 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2.
Deadpool VR is next on the menu, including a release date on November 18, 2025.
Next is World of Tanks 2.0. It’ll come out on September 3, and it’ll be the biggest update ever.
We take the first look at the gameplay of John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, coming for PC, PS5, and Xbox One in early 2026.
Next on the menu is Ron Gilbert’s Death by Scrolling, published by Microprose.
ZA/UM presented Zero Parades, coming to Steam.
Hotta Studio showcased a look at Neverness to Everness, coming to PS5 and PC.
Next is Unbeatable, coming to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
We also take a look at Honor of Kings World.
A new trailer of Ninja Gaiden 4 was also showcased. The game is coming on October 21 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
From NCSoft, we get to see the first gameplay of the MMO shooter Cinder City.
The Korean publisher also showcased a second game by Mistil Games, Time Takers, which is coming soon to Steam.
Konami revealed a new look at Silent Hill f, which is coming on September 25, 2025, to PS5 and PC.
Jyamma Games presented La Divina Commedia, coming to Steam.
Bloober Team offered a new look at Cronos: The New Dawn, which is coming on September 5 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2.
Obsidian revealed a new trailer of The Outer Worlds 2, showing the companions, alongside a release date on October 29 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
Next is a trailer of Fate Trigger coming in early access for PC in Q1 2026.
We also get another look at The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin for PC, PS5, and Mobile, focusing on the open beta.
Next is Moomlighter 2: The Endless Wault, coming in early access on PC on October 23.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has a release date, and it’ll come out on October 21 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
Another Xbox franchise comes to PS5, and it’s Age of Empires 4. We also get the announcement of the new expansion, Dynasties of the East.
Next is the second story expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Legacy of the Forge, coming on September 9.
Cult of the Lamb is getting a major expansion, Woolhaven, coming in early 2026.
Blizzard Entertainment revealed the trailer for the next expansion for World of Warcraft: Midnight, which is coming in 2026.
While it wasn’t showcased at the show, Blizzard also revealed some gameplay.
Team Jade introduced a new horror PvPvE tactical shooter, Project Spectrum.
Wargaming revealed another tank game, World of Tanks: Heat, coming for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Sony and Sucker Punch presented another look at the world of Ghost of Yōtei, coming to PS5 on October 2, alongside the release of the free co-op multiplayer DLC Ghost of Yōtei: Legends, coming in 2026.
Capcom released a new trailer showcasing the backstory of the protagonist of Resident Evil Requiem.
Lastly, Game Science revealed Black Myth: Zhong Kui. It’ll be a single-player RPG.
