The trailer focuses on several monsters that we’ll encounter in the game, starting with one that will certainly be familiar to many who watched the TV show or read the Ice and Fire books, Daenerys Targaryen’s dragon Drogon, which will be included as a field boss.

We also get to see the Ironbeak Griffin, the Stormhown Unicorn, the Ice Spider, and the Red Cockatrice. These will be less known to TV series watchers, but fans of George R. R. Martin’s books should be more acquainted with some.

You can check the trailer out below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, it’s an open-world action RPG developed by Netmarble’s studio Netmarble Neo and coming at some point in the future for PC, iOS, and Android.

It’s set after the Red Wedding, as the Night’s Watch sends for aid to face the White Walkers. The player plays the role of a bastard of the head of House Tyre sent to heed the call of the Night’s Watch to unite the nobles of Westeros against the incoming threat.

We have already seen that it’ll feature many known characters from the TV series, including their actors’ likeness.

We also know that we’ll be able to create a custom character with one of three classes, Knight, Sellsword, and or Assassin.

The game was initially announced only for iOS and Android, but after a few weeks, Warner Bros seemed to see the light and announced a PC version as well. Thank goodness.
