Epic Games has revealed that Godzilla will officially be coming to Fortnite on January 17, 2025.
The Godzilla x Kong Fortnite crossover has been teased since late last year, and now we finally know what to expect. The event will add new weapons, skins, cars, and bundles, each of which will be available on both the paid and free Battle Pass routes.

HUNTERS Battle Pass will be able to unlock the Godzilla Evolved Outfit, which glows brighter after each kill you make. Completing Quests also added matching accessories for this skin, including:
- Godzilla’s Exo-Spine Back Bling
- Crystal Fang Pickaxe
- Mothra Glider
- Lil’ Godzilla Attack Emote!
- Godzilla Evolved’s Energized Godzilla Style (Unlocked After Completing All Quests)
Players can complete these questlines up until February 21, 2025, at 2 AM ET. Cosmetics-wise, the shop is offering Mechagodzilla & Kong bundles. Alongside outfits for both, they include:
- Proton Drill Pickaxe
- Kong’s Battle Axe Pickaxe
- Proton Exo-Boosters Back Bling
- B.E.A.S.T. Armorplate Back Bling
- Roar Power Wrap
- Cybernetic Scream Wrap
- B.E.A.S.T. Glove Emote
The biggest news (quite literally) is that the first player who comes across a portal that appears on the Battle Royale map will be turned into the colossal titan. When playing as Godzilla, you’ll be able to find players with Roar and use Mighty Stomp Attack and Heat Ray to deal serious damage.
Anyone needing to take down the beast will use Rail Guns to knock off Godzilla Fragments to gain 40 Health and three dash charges. Shield Bubbles for cover will also help you survive. The player who deals the most damage receives the Godzilla Medallion, which gives a recharging dash ability (up to three charges at a time) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Last but not least is the Nissan Skyline GT-R, which is coming as a part of the bundle to the shop on January 16 at 7 PM ET. You’ll be able to wrap the car using unique Godzilla, Kong, Godzilla Evolved, or Mechagodzilla (animated) decals and equip Godzilla or Monarch Tech Wheels to drive in style.
