Epic Games has just released a teaser on Twitter for the next Chapter and its subsequent Battle Pass in Fortnite. While we don’t know the exact time the update will drop, it has been announced that Chapter 6, Season 1, will arrive on December 1, 2025.
From the image, we can see that the next season, called Hunters, is heavily Japanese-themed, with a roster of unique skins, including Baymax from Big Hero 6 and a variety of ninja outfits. While Godzilla is also pictured in the image, his size makes him a bit of an outlier. As such, it doesn’t seem likely that he’ll be a skin but instead will appear as an event monster – at least a first, with a shrunken-down skin reward coming after.
Speaking of Big Hero 6, the setting for Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1, will be San Fransokyo, a hybrid of Tokyo and San Francisco that places a heavy emphasis on technology.
In other Fortnite news, it was announced last month that Fortnite OG would be added to the game as permanent game mode, allowing fans to experience the joys and challenges of the original seasons. It will start with Chapter 1, Season 1, and will likely follow the same season release as the original, all of which is set to start on December 6, right after Chapter 6, Season 1 drops.
Fortnite is currently free-to-play and is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PC (Epic Games), Andriod, and iOS. For more information on the game and all the upcoming seasonal releases, skins, and more, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily.
