Square Enix revealed new screenshots of the upcoming patch 7.3 coming to Final Fantasy XIV, titled “The Promise of Tomorrow.”
The screenshots focus on the main story questline, on top of the new alliance raid, Echoes of Vana’diel – San d’Oria: The Second Walk.
We also get to see more of the new instance dungeon, the Meso Termina, including the gear set that we’ll be able to earn within it.
Lastly, a single screenshots hint at the story behind a new trial, which has yet to be named to avoid spoilers.
You can check them all out below while we wait for the update, which will be released in early August. We’ll know the exact date next week on July 24, when the next Letter from the Producer Live livestream will be aired.

If you’re unfamiliar with Final Fantasy XIV, it’s currently available for PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X|S.
Incidentally, Final Fantasy XIV is one of the pillars of Square Enix’s game lineup, and its recurring revenue does wonders to keep up its otherwise shaky financials.
