Giants Software has revealed the release date for Farming Simulator: Signature Edition, the upcoming iteration of the franchise coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, along with a first look at gameplay for the title.
Farming Simulator: Signature Edition includes the same gameplay that you’d expect from the franchise, giving players the means to work with agriculture, forestry, and animal husbandry.
There are 400 authentic machines included in the game from over 150 manufacturers, including renowned names like Case IH, Claas, Fendt, John Deere, Kubota, and Massey Ferguson.
The latest Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack will be included, bringing the 17 trucks from the iconic OEM to the Switch 2. This includes the popular Unimog and the MB-trac.

Farming Simulator: Signature Edition is set to release on December 9, 2025, on Nintendo Switch 2. Giants Software plans to continue expanding the game with content updates, just like they do with other iterations in the franchise.
Players will soon be able to pre-order the game on the official Farming Simulator website.
This isn’t the first time Farming Simulator has appeared on Nintendo consoles, though it’ll be the first that’s specifically for the Switch 2. Both Farming Simulator 20 and Farming Simulator 23 had Nintendo Switch Editions, and a children’s edition, Farming Simulator Kids, was also released on the original Switch.
