Today, Giants Software has shared another in-depth the upcoming Highlands Fishing expansion for its beloved sim title, Farming Simulator 25, showcasing the New productions, constructions, and decorations coming in the DLC.
New productions and production chains are all based on the Kinlaig map, taking into account new crops (onions), activities (fishing), and buildings (fish food factories. Other factors, like needing vegetable oil that is made up of sunflower, olive, canola, or rice oil, plus wheat, and soybeans to make fish food, also need to be taken into account, meaning that it isn’t just a simple plug-and-produce method of creating new things for this DLC.
These resources will also help you with the new constructions and decorations coming in Farming Simulator 25 Highlands Fishing. Alongside unique natural-looking log cabins and houses, a variety of decorative objects allows you to customize your backyard, from garden beds to telephone booths to shipping containers.
Kinlaig will be lit with seasonal decorations for Halloween and Christmas, as shown in the images below.







Farming Simulator 25 Highlands Fishing also introduces onions as the newest crop, featuring its own specialized equipment for picking, and four brand-new vehicles: Monosem, Can-Am, Agri-Spread & GT Bunning. Highlands Fishing and the Kinlaig map are set to release later this year on November 4, 2025, for PC (Steam), Mac, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. T
