The newest Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time release date is May 21, 2025. This isn’t the first time the game has been pushed back, as dedicated Fantasy Life fans might remember.

Fans have been waiting since February 2023, when Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time was announced for release that same year. While there was no dedicated date, it was eventually pushed back multiple times into 2024 before landing on a 2025 release window.

However, two new trailers have come with the May 21 release date announcement, giving players hope that no more delays are on the horizon.

The first trailer is a New Life Guide. It’s not very long, but it’s a brief look at what Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is about. This includes exploring, combat, customization and terraformation, and even an online multiplayer.

It also goes into the various different Lifes, or vocations, in the game. There are 14 jobs players can choose from that are categorized into groups: Combat (Mercenary, Hunter, Paladin, Magician), Gathering (Woodcutter, Farmer, Angler, Miner), and Crafting (Tailor, Artist, Blacksmith, Cook, Alchemist, Carpenter).

That trailer can be viewed below:

The next Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time trailer was much longer and showed off more of the game’s features.

The game’s premise is that the player is an adventurer who finds a fossilized dragon that leads them to a deserted island. There, the player travels from the present to the past to discover what happened to the now-destroyed kingdom that once thrived.

Players will explore the past at any point to do this. This makes getting materials a breeze, which they’ll then use in their Lives.

A large part of the game includes rebuilding and designing the island. This includes decorating your home or making the island look perfect.

Treasure Groves are dungeons that players can plant. They have different layouts and good loot every time you enter.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will have multiplayer. Up to four players can play cross-platform, and there’s even a two-player couch co-op.

Players can watch the second Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time trailer below:

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will be released on May 21 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Players can get the Digital Deluxe Edition for even more rewards, including a Mini Napdragon mount, Napdragon Weapons, and an Iconic Outfit Pack. Additionally, those on PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S will get Early Access, while PC players will get Advanced Access.

Additionally, those who pre-order digitally can get the New Adventurer’s Pack, which includes a Flutter Charm to boost experience and 9 different types of consumables.
