Koei Tecmo is once again brining your fantasies into reality, as they revealed brand new footage for their upcoming action RPG sequel based on the popular manga and anime franchise Fairy Tail. You can check out the trailer below, which shows off more information about the combat in Fairy Tail 2, which focuses around Natsu and company’s fight against Emperor Spriggan Zeref and his menacing team.
Alongside the action, the sequel also gave fans a look into how they’ll be able to manage skill progression for their characters, unlocking specific traits and abilities as the story progresses. Alongside skills, character stories will also unlock as you progress, featuring brand-new, original sequences and interactions.
Fairy Tail 2 will release on December 13, 2024 for PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, and December 11, 2024 for PC via Steam. Anyone who pre-orders the game now will get a variety of bonus content, depending on the edition.
The Fairy Tail 2 Guild Box edition includes:
- Visual artbook “Sorcerer Magazine Special Issue: Game Release Edition Vol.2”
- Special Shikishi with Holographic Finish (three types in total)
- Miss Fairy Tail Contest costume for Lucy
Fairy Tail 2 Digital Deluxe Edition will also get access to the Miss Fairy Tail Contest costume, as well as additional in-game content such as costumes, characters, scenarios, and various DLC that will be revealed at a later date.
