F1 25 has had its latest update with patch v1.05, adding new Chapter Scenarios and music from The F1 Movie, which was recently released in theaters.
The patch notes for v1.05 were revealed last week, though the patch itself was released earlier today. This added six new Chapter Scenarios to F1 25 that are based on The F1 Movie, where players can drive the APXGP car.
In order to access these, players will need to have the corresponding add-on, a $9.99 DLC. Those who pre-ordered the Iconic Edition should already have access to the chapters without purchasing the add-on.
The DLC does come with more than just the new Chapter Scenarios. Players can instantly use Joshua Pearce’s helmet in both My Team and Driver Career. Additionally, once they’ve completed all six chapters, they’ll be able to use Sonny Hayes’ helmet.
The update also includes adding music from the soundtrack of The F1 Movie, which includes tracks from Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, Doja Cat, Don Toliver, and Roddy Ricch. These will be added to the EA Music playlist, which is available for all players.
There’s nothing else included in the update, though Codemasters encouraged fans to keep an eye on the Community-Raised Issues forum. This forum is constantly updated, giving players an idea of what’s coming in future updates and any problems that are currently in the game. This is also the best way to get feedback to developers about problems or ideas for the future.
