EA Sports is back with another look at the next installment in its FIA Formula One World Championship series, F1 25, this time around showcasing what is next for the story mode, Breaking Point.
The third chapter in this story mode for F1 25 boasts plenty of old and new. The first two installments (F1 23 & F1 24) of this story mode followed Aiden, Callie, and Devon as they journeyed to become Championship contenders.
In F1 25, Konnersport is no longer a minnow’s team, as they’ve now been thrown into the chaos that is competing alongside the best in the sport. To reflect this, Breakpoint Point 3 will feature a story mode where players can tailor their experience based on their specific skill level, letting you choose between four rebalanced difficulty levels.
The introduction of NVIDIA Audio2Face and an updated Meet the Press segment also lends to improved authenticity. Visual elements in general have been improved in F1 25, as EA Sports discussed in the recent My Team Deep Dive.
Using the EGO engine and LIDAR technology, EA has digitally scanned and rebuilt five tracks used during real-life race weeks: Bahrain, Miami, Melbourne, Suzuka, and Imola. For the first time, Reverse tracks are also being added to the game, allowing players to experience some of their favorite locations in reverse.

This will undoubtedly have an impact on Story Mode, adding even more realism to the overall experience that Breaking Point 3 will present. F1 25 is set to release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on May 30, 2025.
