EVO Japan 2025 took place this past weekend, crowning winners across the biggest fighting games.
The official EVO Events YouTube channel conveniently shares videos of all of the matches, which can be found below the winners.
The first of the grand finals was for Fatal Fury: City of The Wolves, where Xiaohai won 3-1 over Fenritti.
The King of Fighters XV between Mok and ET was next. ET took the win with a 3-1 score, coming on top after taking second in EVO 2024‘s The King of Fighters XV grand final.
Next up was Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, where Kasausagi took a narrow 3-2 victory over Zangief_Dream in the grand finals.
The Guilty Gear Strive grand final was next, where Daru_I-No took an impressive 3-0 win versus RedDitto.
Next was the Teeken 8 grand final that saw Knee take a narrow 2-1 victory over Mulgold.
After that, the Street Fighter 6 grand finals took place, where MenaRD won with a 3-1 lead over Ryukichi.
EVO Japan 2025 had more than just winners — it also revealed an exhibition for Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact, featuring quite a few characters: Gon, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, Bisky, Hisoka, Kite, Genthru, Netero, Razor, Meruen, and Chrollo.
DJ Salvatore Ganacci also made an appearance. This isn’t too surprising, considering he’s the next weird guest character coming to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
EVO 2025 will be held in Las Vegas from August 1 and August 3, marking the next big weekend for fighting game enthusiasts.
