Specifically, we get to see an update to the popular Scania R and S trucks.

The update will include SUPER engines, with 420, 460, 500, and 560 horsepower options. On top of that, we’ll also get the V8 engines with 590, 660, and 770 horsepower engines. On top of the new Opticruise G25, G33, G38 CM, and CMR transmissions.

The cabin interior will also be updated with the Smart Dash and Smart Dash Advanced interiors, with Dark, Light, and V8-specific options.

In terms of exterior, you’ll be able to equip SUPER engine badges, SUPER grille emblems, and cabin badges for owners of the Mighty Griffin Tuning Pack. You’ll also be able to add separated rear lights, front fenders with sensors, and removable rear fender tops.

New fuel tank options will be available as follows.

  • 4×2: 1070 L and 1290 L
  • 6×2: 510 L and 600 L
  • 6×2 Long: 965 L and 1000 L

Lastly, we’ll get the SUPER and 770 paint jobs.

You can see everything in the gallery below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced.

Update 1.57 will also bring the first iteration of dynamic loading and unloading, new content for the Special Transport DLC, and new company logos and paint jobs.

Nordic Horizons will likely be the next paid DLC. You can already check out its gameplay reveal, on top of the landscapes, landmarks, the city of Oulu, the churches, the lakes of Finland, more roadside landmarks, the town of Andenes, Kiruna, its famous wooden church, fjords and mountains, and the Custom Depots.

In parallel, SCS Software is working on a refresh of the Scandinavian DLC, where you can enjoy the city of Aarhus, Motorway 16 in Denmark, Copenhagen, and Karlstad.

The development team is also hard at work updating other areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we recently saw the port of Rotterdam and the city of Brussels.

The Iceland DLC was announced a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, and the Ring Road.

The last national DLC announced a few days ago focuses on Ireland.

Another interesting DLC will bring Coaches into the game, and we recently saw its bus stations and the Scania Touring.
