Today SCS Software revealed tons of screenshots and more details about the upcoming DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 featuring Greece.
Specifically, today we talk about industries and depots that will provide the much-needed gameplay elements to the expansion.
SCS is adding the following types to the mix: food factory, cotton processing factory, olive farm, marble processing factory, and small warehouse facility.
Olives and cotton are very important in Greece, which is the world’s third producer of the former, and the first exporter of the latter in Europe.
There will be two marble processing factories in the expansion, on top of a food factory that will also be implemented in other upcoming DLC. The small warehouse facility is also new and has been created specifically for Greece and some of its islands.
Interestingly, the depots aren’t the prefabricated ones you found in previous expansions, but each has been uniquely created for Greece. They include quarries, farms, a shipyard, and gas stations, on top of a secret and unusual one, which will be revealed at a later time.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is available exclusively for PC. It has recently been updated to version 1.51, with the addition of quite a few features. It also just eceived a spiffy Driving Academy feature.
The game is also soon to receive a rework of german cities, of which we saw München, Mannheim, Leipzig, Dresden, and Berlin.
A few weeks ago, the game was in attendance at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, once more showcasing the inevitable ties between simulation and real-world transportation and logistics.
