Starting with Coaches, we hear about passenger satisfaction, which encourages you to drive smoothly and avoid harsh braking, sharp turns, and traffic violations. Passengers are obviously a lot more sensitive than your normal cargo.

This is still a work-in-progress, and nothing in this is final, but we hear that each passenger has their own sensitivity, and satisfaction is calculated individually. They also board with different moods, and the goal is to improve their mood by the next stop by driving smoothly.

Ideas for the future (their implementation isn’t guaranteed) are requests from passengers, like turning up the heating or the air conditioning, which in turn could affect the mood of other passengers. Requests for unscheduled emergency stops are another possibility, requiring finding a place to pull over quickly to avoid making the passenger unhappy.

We then get to see more of the Nordic Horizons DLC, which will release on November 27.

First of all, we take a look at one of the major cities that will be included in the DLC, Trondheim. Specifically, the screenshots showcase the unique two-storey roundabout along the Rv70, the Dora submarine pens, local sculptures, and more.

Of course, plenty of work opportunities are available at a supermarket, a scrapyard, a furniture factory, a quarry, a construction site, a river port, and a paper mill.

We also see the delivery options for the Special Transport DLC, which include a new wind turbine and an Underground Loader.

The available routes are as follows:

  • Jyväskylä to Vaasa (Finland)
  • Kuopio to Kajaani (Finland)
  • Oulu to Rovaniemi (Finland)
  • Narvik to Kiruna (Norway to Sweden)
  • Trondheim to Östersund (Norway to Sweden)

On top of the screenshots, we also got some footage from X (formerly Twitter).

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available for PC, but PS5 and Xbox versions have been recently announced. The PC version just received update 1.57.

If you’d like to see more about Nordic Horizon, you can check out its gameplay reveal, on top of the landscapes, landmarks, the city of Oulu, the churches, the lakes of Finland, more roadside landmarks, the town of Andenes, Kiruna, its famous wooden church, fjords and mountains, the Custom Depots, and the landmarks.

The development team is also hard at work updating relevant areas of the map, starting with the Benelux region’s rework, of which we recently saw the port of Rotterdam and the city of Brussels. The UK is also being reworked.

The Iceland DLC was announced a few months ago, and you can enjoy additional screenshots, in addition to its churches, and the Ring Road.

The last national DLC announced a few days ago focuses on Ireland.

Another interesting DLC will bring Coaches into the game, and we recently saw its bus stations and the Scania Touring.
