Today Euro Truck Simulator 2 developer SCS Software provided another look at its rework dedicated to German Cities, and specifically the most famous and largest of them all, Berlin.
In a new official post, the developer shared a multitude of new screenshots of the reworked city, on top of details of what we can expect.
There will be a new route passing by the Brandenburg Gate, Blauer Obelisk, Victory Column, and University Island, which will let you witness plenty of landmarks as you drive by.
The city will also feature St. Mary’s Church, the Fernsehturm (Television Tower), and Alexanderplatz. The ring road around the city has been enlarged and is now 14 km long.
Two intersections in the city have been revamped and one has been added, leading toward a car factory. Speaking of industry, to the North of Belin you’ll find a chemical plant, oil storage, and container plaza.
To the south, you can find jobs at the Messe Berlin area (Trade Fair Grounds) including the Internationales Congress Centrum. There is even a purchasable garage.
An exciting piece of information is that Berlin was the last German city that needed a rework, so the project is now complete, even if a timeline of its release was not announced. We only know it should come in patch 1.53 and we recently saw München, Mannheim, Leipzig, and Dresden.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is available exclusively for PC. It has recently been updated to version 1.51, with the addition of quite a few features. It also just eceived a spiffy Driving Academy feature.
The game is also soon to receive a brand new map expansion focusing on Greece.
A few weeks ago, the game was in attendance at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, once more showcasing the inevitable ties between simulation and real-world transportation and logistics.
