SCS Software showcased today new screenshots and details about the upcoming refresh of the Scandinavian region in Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Specifically, we get to see Aarhus, Denmark’s second-largest city, which will have two major highway junctions leading into it from the E45 motorway.
The city will include the Dokk1 multipurpose library, the Havnearbejdernes Klub Århus, and the city’s large container port, which will include plenty of job opportunities.
Further industrial depots include a chemical factory, and there’ll be plenty more landmarks. We’ll see the “Historiske Spor” sculpture, the International Student Centre, Domen Aarhus, Aarhus City Hall, and the Aarhus Cathedral.
Interestingly, the city will also include Aarhus Bus Station, which will then play a role in Project Coaches, which will eventually add coach buses to the game.

If you’re unfamiliar with Euro Truck Simulator 2, it’s a truck-driving simulator available exclusively for PC.
The refresh of the Scandinavia DLC is in the works alongside the Nordic Horizons DLC, of which you can check out the landscapes, landmarks, the city of Oulu, the churches, the lakes of Finland, more roadside landmarks, and the town of Andenes.
Speaking of reworks, the BeNeLux region is also getting a refresh, and we recently saw the port of Rotterdam.
Last, but not least, an Iceland DLC has been announced a few days ago, providing a definitely unique environment for the simulator..
The Nordic Horizons DLC should be the first to come, although a release date has not been announced. SCS Software tends to reveal release dates only a few days before they actually happen.
