The Esports World Cup Foundation has revealed two partnerships just over a week before the start of the 2025 Esports World Cup: one with Lenovo and the renewal of a multi-year contract with Aramco.

Aramco and the Esports World Cup Foundation have partnered before, though they’ve now renewed the contract and extended it for three years. This partnership brings Aramco rigs to an Aramco Sim Arena, where attendees will be able to experience the rigs themselves through different challenges.

Additionally, the Aramco Sim Arena will be home to the Aramco Esports Championship, the finale of the two seasons that play out through the seven weeks of the Esports World Cup. While most of the event will take place in weekly races online, the Championship will be held at the arena. The winner gets the chance to be a part of a special driver development program at the Aston Martin Esports Headquarters.

The partnership between the Esports World Cup Foundation and Lenovo deals with all of the hardware at the events. This includes all of the training rooms and tournament areas, where esports pros will play with hardware like the Legion Tower 7i and 5i, which are built specifically for high-performance esports gameplay.

The Legion Tower 7i includes features like liquid cooling and GeForce RTX 5080 GPUs, while the 5i features “intelligent cooling” and RTX 5070 Ti GPUs.

This also includes mice, keyboards, and monitors from Lenovo. Additionally, the Legion Pro 7i laptops will also be around the event for attendees to compete on when the chance arises.

Mohammed Al Nimer, the Chief Commercial Officer at the Esports World Cup Foundation, shared his thoughts on the Lenovo partnership:

“We’re building the Esports World Cup to set a new global standard — in both competition and the technology behind it. Lenovo’s Legion brand understands what elite players need: speed, efficiency, and reliability under pressure. These machines deliver the competitive edge required on the world’s biggest stage, and together we’re pushing the limits of performance — while delivering an experience that meets the expectations of athletes, fans, and the future of global esports.”

Volker DĂĽring, the VP of the PC Gaming Business at Lenovo, also spoke about the partnership:

“Lenovo Legion equips gamers around the world with outstanding devices to help them achieve their goals and reach their impossible. The Esports World Cup is the ultimate forum for the world’s best gamers to showcase their mettle and emerge at the top of the world leaderboards, and when the best gamers compete on Lenovo Legion devices, anything is possible.”

The Esports World Cup 2025 will kick off on July 10, 2025, with an opening ceremony featuring artists from a variety of genres.
