NASCAR and iRacing are blending in real life for the third time at the finale of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series at the NASCAR Hall of Fame next month.
On October 1, the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series will have its 2024 season finale at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. There, drivers Steven Wilson (M80 Esports), Parker White (Williams Esports), Graham Bowlin (Kansas City Pioneers), and Bobby Zalenski (Joe Gibbs Racing) will race for the $100,000 prize. Dale Earnhardt Jr., the first Coca-Cola iRacing Series winner, will hand out the championship trophy.
Steven Wilson has raced in the finale at the Hall of Fame every year. He’s currently the defending champion. Graham Bowlin and Bobby Zalenski both raced in the 2022 finale. This will be Parker White’s first time racing at the Charlotte live event. This is also his first Championship 4 appearance after taking the last win of the series at the virtual Phoenix Raceway.
The event will start with a Countdown to Green pre-race show at 7 pm ET. The race itself will start an hour later on the virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway. It will be available to stream on the eNASCAR site and other social media channels.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame is in Charlotte, North Carolina, where the infamous Coca-Cola 600 race occurs annually.
Ray Smith, Director of Esports at NASCAR, had exciting words to share:
“Since we debuted at the NASCAR Hall of Fame two years ago, our live championship finale has been the high point of every eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season. We couldn’t be more excited to have Dale on hand to award the trophy that bears his name to this year’s champion, and we’re excited to see which of the Championship 4 drivers will forever etch their name into the eNASCAR record books.”
That excitement was mirrored by iRacing Executive Vice President Steve Myers:
“Since we debuted at the NASCAR Hall of Fame two years ago, our live championship finale has been the high point of every eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season. We couldn’t be more excited to have Dale on hand to award the trophy that bears his name to this year’s champion, and we’re excited to see which of the Championship 4 drivers will forever etch their name into the eNASCAR record books.”
NASCAR Hall of Fame Executive Director Winston Kelley also commented on the thrill of the event:
“The NASCAR Hall of Fame is honored to again serve as the presenting sponsor and host location of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season finale. Our team takes great pride in hosting key NASCAR events throughout the year, and our realistic iRacing simulators are among the most popular of the many interactives we have at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, making this partnership a perfect fit. The energy and excitement the eNASCAR Coca-Cola Series live championship finale brings is amazing and is one of the ‘can’t miss’ items on my calendar each year.”
