Today, indie studio Pixel Perfect Dude revealed that their exciting new entry into their racing series is officially available in early access. Titled Drive Rally, this arcade-style racer centers around iconic rally cars from the ‘80s and ‘90s, boasting many different gameplay modes and cars catering to casual and experienced drivers.
Drive Rally features 36 customizable cars across three unique classes, with over 400km of diverse environments – from sandy deserts to icy mountain terrains – to explore that are inspired by real-world tracks. Like with any successful rally car, the game will also have a co-drive that guides you the whole way while also throwing in plenty of snarky barbs and critisms if you make mistakes.
Even in its early stages, you can capture your favorite moments of Drive Ralley thanks to the photo mode, which has plenty of customization tools to explore, like filters and camera angles. Currently, the early access edition of Drive Rally includes:
- Four unique rally locations with up to 48 stages each (24 normal and 24 reverse).
- Championship mode with four fully voiced co-drivers to guide or taunt you.
- 12 cars with unique performance stats, each with three different classes, providing a total of 36 variations.
- Ongoing updates with community-driven improvements and new content planned throughout the Early Access period.
Drive Rally is available now for $19.99 via Steam, Steam Deck, Epic Games Store, and GOG. Since it is in early access, the game will continue to get updates in the coming months, so be sure to check back for any changes or roadmaps in the near future.
