If you’re unfamiliar with DCS World, it’s a free-to-play flight simulator focusing on military aviation from World War 2 to the present day. It’s available exclusively for PC.
While the sim is free-to-play, it pretty much requires paid modules to be fully enjoyed, including aircraft, campaigns, and maps. That being said, the Eagle Dynamics has a robust free trial program that was just updated.
You can try the following modules at no cost for 15 days every six months.
- South Atlantic Map
- Kola Map
- Sinai Map
- CH‑47F
- F‑5E Remastered
- NS 430
- F‑5E Flaming Cliffs
- MiG‑15bis Flaming Cliffs
- F‑86F Flaming Cliffs
- Flaming Cliffs 2024
Recently, Eagle Dynamics unveiled more of its plans for the implementation of the dynamic campaign, while the upcoming Mig-29A Fulcrum and C-130J Hercules have been made available for pre-order.
The developer also provided a look at more content coming this year and beyond, including an F-15C Eagle and an F-35 Lightning II.
