Ugra-Media provided another extensive look at the upcoming Cold War Germany map for the military flight simulator DCS World.
As usual, we get to take a tour of another city, Hannover, including its airport and the nearby Winstorf Airbase. We also got to see Gatow Airbase.
On top of that, we take a look at something a little less related to the war (cold or hot that it may be) as the developers are including a few Easter Eggs.
One is a field for hot air balloons, alongside a full-fledged air racing track. There will also be aerobatic routes and a special area for aerobatic flying.
You can check out all the videos for yourself below. If you want to see more, we already saw a first batch of videos, a second, and a third, focusing on other areas of the map, including Berlin and its airports.
If you’re unfamiliar with DCS World, it’s a free-to-play military flight simulator focusing on aviation from World War 2 to the present day. It’s available exclusively for PC on Eagle Dynamics’ own store and Steam.
It’s worth mentioning that, while the sim is free-to-play, it very much require paid modules to be fully enjoyed, including aircraft and maps like this one.
Recently, Eagle Dynamics unveiled its plans for the implementation of the dynamic campaign and more. We also heard about another map focused on the Marianas during World War II.
The developer also provided a look at more content coming this year and beyond, including an F-15C Eagle and an F-35 Lightning II.
